Title Sequence - Were i am up too
Also available to view full screen at:

I have changed the Thelma and Louise sequence to include mountains, which i traced from the actual Thelma and Louise film. I plan to include more scenery shooting past the car but thought i would document the changes so far.

I have attempted to put a road into the scene, only to realize that if this part of my animation is to truly parody Thelma and Louise the car may not drive on a road but through a desert scene.

Giovanni Bucci - Video Design Productions
I Just saw this and thought it was a great example of what can be achieved and what i should ultimately aim for using After Effects.
Image development - Thelma & Louise
James Bond Quantum of solace intro
the James bond introduction sequences are all very similar, they usually use silhouettes and shadows and then what ever imagery is fitting to the subject of the film. i really like the constantly moving camera angles and the way that it is one continues shot.
Mad Men Opening Credits
I like the aesthetic of this opening credit sequence and thought it would be a good reference to look at in the creation of my own.

Usable Quotes
Here are a selection of film quotes which i may use in my sequence. i will continue looking at these examples noting there soundtracks, tone, colours, imagery and quote content. As my sequence may not reveal the content of the tv show i will look at iconic scenes from these films and visualise those to envoke curiosity, rather than using the quotes themselves.
Taxi Driver "You talking to me?"
Scarface "Say Hello Too My Little Friend
Dirty Harry "Do You Feel Lucky Punk?" 3mins in
The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Silence of the lambs "Some fava beans and a nice chianti"

Top 10 Parodied Film Quotes (The task at hand)
I have decided to focus my study of film parodies on specifically parodied quotes. going through my list i have found that i have the most examples of these rather than other features such as camera movements, sound effects and whole scenes which are also frequently parodied. a more specific focus will make it easier to communicate clearly.
what i do not want to do is focus on type. as i am using quotes i realise that this would seem the logical route. but i refuse.
i need to ensure a fun/humorous tone of voice as parodies are usually in jest whilst also appealing to serious film enthusiasts/geeks. and remembering not to reveal the top 10 but to communicate the idea of ranking iconic quotes through the use of imagery and sound.

"You Feeling Lucky Punk?" 3 min in
In The Mask, The Mask (Jim Carrey) imitates Dirty Harry near the end of the film while saying, "You have to ask yourself one question: do I feel lucky. Well, do ya... [pulls and cocks out a number of guns on both hands] punks?", Carrey also parodies the famous line in Bruce Almighty.
In Transformers, Ironhide greets Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) with "Do you feel lucky, punk?"
In Scary Movie 2, Dwight Hartman (David Cross) threatens Hugh Kane, Hell House Ghost (Richard Moll), saying, "I know what you thinking. Did I fire three shots or a hundred and seventeen? Well, do you feel lucky, [pause] punk? Do you [pause] feel lucky? [says faster] Do you feel lucky, punk?"

Best/Worst Film Parodies
I have decided to base my best/worst project on Film Parodies
Definition:
par·o·dy n
1. a piece of writing or music that deliberately copies another work in a comic or satirical way
2. an attempt or imitation that is so poor that it seems ridiculous
focusing on any scenes which are parodied on Tv shows, Films or Tv Adverts i have come up with this list so far and plan to research each parody.
